Sagada, Mountain Province

Lumiang Cave

Sagada is a municipality of Mountain Province is popular for its cool climate, caves, falls, amazing sceneries, warm people, and of course, good food.

Getting There

There are two (2) options on how to get to Sagada from Manila:

Via Baguio

  • Take the usual 5 to 6 hour trip to Baguio
  • When you're in Baguio, take a cab to Dangwa Bus Terminal
  • Hop on Lizardo bus for another 5 to 6-hour ride to Sagada

Via Banaue
  • Take the 8hr Florida bus (Pink Bus) from Manila to Banaue which leaves at around 10pm, then a jeep from Banaue to Bontoc, and another one from Bontoc to Sagada
  • If you're going there with a group on off peak season, you can hire an entire jeep so you will have control of the entire trip and could request to stop over on some majestic scenes along the way.
My friends and I took the Banaue route on our way to Sagada and traveled via Baguio on our way back to Manila.
